About Us

Rooted in place,
built for people

Founded in the aftermath of the Second World War, the Aldermoor Association grew from a handful of neighbours determined to rebuild not just bricks and mortar, but the social fabric of their street.

Today, we represent over twelve hundred households and work with local authorities, schools, and businesses to ensure Aldermoor remains a place where everyone belongs.

01

Advocacy

We represent residents at planning committees, council meetings, and public consultations — making sure local voices shape local decisions.

02

Heritage

Through our archive, walking trails, and annual heritage day, we preserve the stories and landmarks that define who we are.

03

Community

From seasonal gatherings to neighbour support schemes, we cultivate the connections that turn a street into a neighbourhood.
